Penerapan Aplikasi SIM-FADA (Sistem Informasi Magang Fakultas Dakwah) untuk Meningkatkan Efektivitas dan Efisiensi Pelaksanaan Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL) di Fakultas Dakwah

Abstract

Information technology is widely utilized in various organizations. Almost all organizations, including universities, currently leverage the benefits of information technology (IT). However, the management of internships at UIN Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq still employs manual registration, which consumes a lot of time and effort. Additionally, the absence of a database for participants, field supervisors, and internship locations results in poor coordination. The aim of this research is to identify the features of the SIM FADA application and to determine its effectiveness and efficiency. The results of this research are: 1) The Home Menu, Database Menu, Group Menu, Supervising Lecturer Menu, Withdrawal Letter Menu, Release Letter Menu, Timeline Menu, and Invitation Letter Menu. 2) The SIM-FADA application improves effectiveness and efficiency in various aspects. The home menu facilitates the quick distribution of files, schedules, and PPL proposals to over 300 participants. The database menu allows detailed profiles of participants and enables contacting them via WhatsApp without saving their numbers. The group menu helps supervisors monitor groups. The supervising lecturer menu aids in accurately recording the names of lecturers and institution heads. The withdrawal and release letter menus streamline the distribution of letters to participants and related institutions. The timeline menu provides a complete schedule of PPL activities, reducing difficulties in accessing event information.
