Places of worship are not only spaces for religious practice but also serve as social arenas and community activity centers. After being designated as a Child-Friendly Regency (Kabupaten Layak Anak/KLA), Jember Regency now has six places of worship categorized as Child-Friendly Houses of Worship (Rumah Ibadah Ramah Anak/RIRA). These consist of three mosques, two churches, and one vihara. Based on the background above, the research problems are formulated as follows: (1) How is the management of mosques, churches, and viharas categorized as child-friendly houses of worship in Jember Regency? (2) What are the similarities and differences in the management of mosques, churches, and viharas that fall under the child-friendly category? This study uses a qualitative approach, selected to gain an in-depth understanding of the experiences, perspectives, and management practices of houses of worship in creating child-friendly environments. This research is descriptive in nature, aiming to provide a detailed depiction of the conditions and management practices of child-friendly houses of worship. Based on the research findings, the conclusion is as follows: the management of child-friendly houses of worship in Jember Regency is assessed using management principles, namely: Planning, through joint formulation of short-, medium-, and long-term activity plans; Organizing, by allocating resources within each unit according to capability to achieve activity goals; Leading, by overseeing the alignment between resources and responsibilities; and Controlling, by evaluating activity reports and providing solutions as well as follow-up actions for future activities.
